Commenting on new unemployment figures showing a further rise in Welsh unemployment, Welsh Lib Dem Shadow Economy Minister, Jenny Randerson AM said:
"The fact these figures are out on the day of the budget shows just how urgent action is needed to support jobs and businesses.
"With every day that passes, more and more Welsh people are left jobless and struggling to stay in their homes, and we need action to give them support,
"Many of the big job losses have already happened and now we are seeing something even more worrying, the drip, drip effect of the closures and cutbacks of small, Welsh businesses. These are the organisations who will need the most support in the coming months."
