Jenny believes the Government should invest in rail and other modes of public transport

Speaking ahead of tomorrow's (Wednesday's) publication of the National Transport Plan, Welsh Lib Dem Shadow Transport Minister, Jenny Randerson AM said:

"Tomorrow sees a golden opportunity for the Labour-Plaid Government to show that if we are to meet the joint challenges of Climate Change and transport chaos, the focus needs to shift from road to rail, cycling, walking and other public transport.

"If the Government signals a big switch of investment from road programmes to rail, a big increase in support for walking and cycling and the creation of a public transport system that is reliable, affordable and clean, then we will be satisfied. If we don't see any of this, then it will be very clear that there is no green left in the red-green coalition!"
